Database Monitoring
Achieving compliance with numerous federal and industry-specific regulations requires visibility and control over databases, applications and the users that interact with them. To address many of these requirements, particularly those focused on data privacy and security, and to address internal audit demands for greater control and visibility LogRhythm offers our Universal Database Log Adapter (UDLA). The UDLA extends the reach of LogRhythm's enterprise-class log and event management to the database and application level. Customers can use the UDLA function to automaticaly collect, analyze, alert, and report on logs from any ODBC-compliant database or applications running on those database.
UDLA Features include:
- Collection of logs from all ODBC compliant databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Informix, MySQL, and others.
- Out-of-the-Box support for Database System Logs and Commercial Application Logs
- User-configurable support for custom audit trails and custom applications logging to a database
By combining the access and visibility of the UDLA with LogRhythm's core analysis, management, reporting and alerting capabilities, customers gain unprecedented and timely insight into potential threats and security risks to their databases, applications and information assets.
