Lead Development Representative

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Lead Development Group (LDG). The primary mission of the LDG is to develop leads and contacts from a variety of sources into qualified opportunities for our Sales team.
As key members of the LogRhythm Marketing Team, Lead Development Representatives will:
- Qualify leads from a variety of sources (e.g., tradeshows, whitepaper downloads, webinar attendees, web visitors, etc.) via email, telephone calls and online research
- Identify prospects within target accounts that have active log and event management projects. This task includes researching the leads (prospects) what have responded to outbound email campaigns or show interest in LogRhythm and contacting leads in the account to navigate to the appropriate contacts or groups with active projects
- Effectively and efficiently track all prospects in their assigned regions via Salesforce.com and nurture them through a lead development process from prospects to qualified sales opportunities
- Using a combination of emails and calls, develop and test messages with prospects to achieve highest response rate to LogRhythm outreach
- Collaborate with regional account managers to maximize territory development
Skills and Experience:
- Highly self motivated
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Articulate, good telephone demeanor and positive attitude
- Skilled at open-ended questioning
- Ability to manage multiple projects, with excellent time management, organization and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, use of the Internet for research
- Experience using Salesforce.com (a plus)
- Previous Sales experience preferred
Qualifications and Education:
- BS/BA preferred
- A desire to pursue a career in sales
