LogRhythm is seeking a mid-level Software Quality Engineer to join our team at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado. The Software Quality Engineer will function in an agile development environment, designing, writing and executing test cases, reporting defects, and filling other roles as they arise. Qualified candidates will have previous experience testing complex enterprise software. Experience in a variety of technologies including networking devices, security devices, operating systems, and multiple database platforms is a plus. Required Skills:
- 5 or more years of enterprise software test experience
- 3 or more years of experience with client-server architecture
- 2 or more years working with Windows SQL Server or equivalent
- 2 or more years working with Unix systems
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
- In-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and standards
- Experience with test case writing, with and without detailed specifications
- Experience installing software on multiple operating system platforms
- Experience with test automation or the ability to write software for the purposes of automation
- Strong personal organizational and time management capabilities
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
Valued skills:
- Agile methodologies (scrum)
- Experience with creating virtual systems using VM Ware or MS Virtual Server
- Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases
- Understanding of routers, switches, and firewall devices
- Excellent software-related investigative/forensic skills
- Experience with Windows services
