Systems Integration Engineer

LogRhythm is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado. The primary function for this role is to provide highly technical integrated solutions in support of the LogRhythm engineering organization and development activities. 

The ideal candidate is a talented technologist with proven execution on project deliverables and timelines, experienced in systems administration for the support of solutions setup in software development and QA environments, has both the experience and desire to design/build integrated product solutions (e.g. High Availability, software/hardware appliances, virtualization/cloud) has the capabilities to quickly learn new technologies and systems

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support bringing new products to market using commercial off the shelf hardware, from drawing board to packaged for-sale appliances
  • Build and evaluate new hardware configurations against performance baselines
  • Create performance sizing guidance used to architect an optimally sized appliances for customers
  • Help design and maintain solutions suitable for Highly Available (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
  • Help develop and maintain LogRhythm appliance hardening procedures and processes
  • Help develop, maintain, and secure standardized appliance imaging solution for both manufacturing and field recovery
  • Provide consultative guidance and support to customer support organization for LogRhythm solutions deployment  (standard and non-standard)
  • Supporting proof of concepts and prototyping efforts

Required Skills:

  • MCSE/MCITP
  • 2+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably working in a software development and quality assurance organization
  • 3+ years of experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux), applications, and database administration (SQL server preferred)
  • 2+ years of OS automated deployment (PowerShell preferred), including packaging and scripting skills
  • 2+ years networking experience in administration and/or configuring of routers, switches, firewall devices,
    IDS / IPS
  • 1+ years of experience with virtualization administration and configuration preferably with VMware (vSphere, ESX/ESXi).
  • Strong Windows server administration skills  - installation, automated deployment, configuration, and hardening
  • Strong SQL server administration skills – installation, automated deployment, configuration, and hardening
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory configuration, integration, and security
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and documentation skills

Valued Skills:

  • Experience designing and/or deploying highly available systems using clustering and data replication technologies
  • Solid understanding of network, host, and database security, maintaining a highly secure operating environment
  • Experience with SAN/NAS
  • Experience with Performance Management on complex systems
  • VMware Certified Professional
  • Design and deployment experience with cloud computing technologies
