UNIX C/C++ Software Engineer

LogRhythm is seeking an exceptional
UNIX C/C++ software engineer to join our team at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado. This individual will be a core member of a highly focused and highly competent product development team. Qualified candidates will have proven experience delivering product quality code developed in C/C++ for UNIX (and some Windows) operating systems. Job Functions
- Implementing new features in the LogRhythm UNIX Agents in C/C++
- Maintaining and supporting the LogRhythm UNIX Agent C/C++ code base and customer install base
- Performing UNIX system administration in the LogRhythm development and QA labs (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX)
Required Skills
- 3-5 years C/C++ software development experience
- Significant experience with UNIX C/C++ software development: C/C++ skills, knowledge of compilers, linkers, makefiles, and scripting
- Significant experience with C/C++ debugging technologies and techniques: debuggers, memory profiling tools, , core file analysis
- Experience with UNIX system administration – help support the LogRhythm software development and QA UNIX systems
- Outstanding reverse engineering capabilities
- Exceptional communication & writing skills
Valued Skills
- Bachelor's degree software engineering, computer science or in a related discipline
- Experience with C# .NET software development
- Experience with C/C++ software development on windows platforms
- Experience writing secure software
- Experience developing software for “shrink-wrapped” enterprise class software products
- Experience with iterative development methodologies (i.e., Agile)
