LogRhythm Appoints New Channel Marketing Manager to Meet Booming Demand for its Advanced Cyber Security Solutions

July 10, 2012 – LogRhythm, a leader in cyber threat defence, detection and response, has today announced the appointment of Harjot Panesar as its new channel marketing manager. As data protection continues to dominate the corporate agenda, Panesar will help LogRhythm’s partners capitalise on the explosive demand for its solutions and the booming Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) market. Panesar brings more than 13 years of direct and channel marketing experience within the hi-tech and information security industry, and joins LogRhythm from ActivIdentity, where she was responsible for EMEA marketing and promoting the company’s channel partner programme.

Panesar’s primary duty will be to build on the success of LogRhythm Connect, LogRhythm’s recently launched channel programme. LogRhythm Connect is the first of a series of initiatives designed to help LogRhythm’s partners address the key cyber security and compliance issues facing organisations today. LogRhythm’s continuing expansion throughout 2012 will see it double its EMEA team in 2012, as well as increase the number of new partners joining LogRhythm Connect. This growth is driven by the rising demand for next generation SIEM technology in the region, with analyst firm Frost & Sullivan predicting demand for SIEM solutions in the UK and mainland Europe will grow substantially to reach $359 million by 2014.

“We’re delighted to welcome Harjot to LogRhythm, and her wealth of industry experience will certainly be vital to our continued growth and success,” said Stuart Quinsey, director of channels EMEA at LogRhythm. “As cyber criminals continue to target an increasingly diverse range of organisations, and with mounting pressure to ensure regulatory compliance, more organisations are looking at new ways to protect digital assets. As a result, the value that SIEM solutions add in the fight against cyber crime is becoming increasingly clear. Harjot’s experience in designing and implementing impressive channel programmes across the EMEA region will ensure that our partners are able to capitalise on the opportunities that SIEM presents in the marketplace.”

“LogRhythm is recognised as a market leader with a disruptive offering, and as the largest independent SIEM vendor, is ideally positioned to help the channel offer sound advice and recommendations to their own customers,” said Panesar. “I’m delighted to have joined LogRhythm at such an exciting time. With so many competitors recently acquired by big vendors we will focus on illustrating the company’s unwavering commitment to our partners. SIEM solutions are a flexible addition to the other technologies in our partners’ existing portfolios, and perfect for plugging the gaps left between point technologies. LogRhythm’s award-winning cyber security platform, combined with our fast-growing channel programmes, forms an attractive proposition for any channel organisation operating in the IT security space.”
