My Role
As a Senior Strategic Integrations Engineer, my role is to research broad industry use cases and develop content and integrations for the LogRhythm knowledge base to help solve them. Such use cases include healthcare, IT operations, Industrial Control Systems, and other strategic imperatives LogRhythm can help solve.
My Story
I got my start in the IT world working with IBM for several years supporting a variety of clients ranging from clothing stores to the U.S. Department of Defense. After IBM, I moved on to a small MSP where I did further technical support and systems administration.
I joined LogRhythm as a Machine Data Intelligence (MDI) Engineer in early 2014, utilizing my IT experience to interpret, classify, and normalize raw log data for the SIEM. I have written innumerable regular expressions first with the MDI team, and now somewhat less often as a Senior Engineer on the Strategic Integrations Team. While not finding patterns, I enjoy photography, cycling, mixing cocktails, making poutine, and spending time with my wife and two dogs.
