My Role
I work as the Compliance Engineer for the LogRhythm Labs team. In this role, I research the newest compliance mandates and consult with our product team to create easy-to-use compliance solutions for LogRhythm customers. I also work closely with customers and sales engineers to create solutions within LogRhythm to meet compliance obligations in our customers’ environment.
My Story
In college, I studied information technology, political science, and leadership studies. I quickly learned that technology was going to rapidly reshape the way we live and governments were going to be there with ‘guard rails’ to help protect people in the form of various regulations. I wanted to work with people that make those regulations work for everyone.
I began my career as an IT Auditor for Ameritas Life Insurance where I conducted internal IT audits and supported external audits. From there, I moved to Ernst and Young as a Senior Risk Assurance Analyst performing internal and external audit assessments, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Payment Card Industry (PCI), and security operations center (SOC) reporting. After that, I joined Arrow Electronics, Inc.’s internal audit group as an IT Auditor where I led the organization’s global IT/operational audits and risk management, as well support its annual SOX assessment.
Outside of the office, you will find me out in the mountains, riding and talking about motorcycles, or attending a local sports game.
