Company Recognized for Best of Breed Mix of Log and Security Event Management
Boulder, Dec 1, 2010 – LogRhythm, LogRhythm, the company that makes log data useful, today announced that it has received the first ever Innovator Hall of Fame Award from SC Magazine, the world’s leading information security publication. The coveted Innovator Hall of Fame designation recognizes companies that are perennial winners of just about every accolade SC Magazine can present. In the past three years, LogRhythm has received Innovator of the Year, Best Buy, Recommended and Reader Trust awards, and has been a five-star winner within a Group Test review multiple times.
“LogRhythm has created an innovative mix of log and event management. Over the past year, LogRhythm has returned to its roots. Its goal is to bring to market ways to detect types of attacks and frauds that have not been detected before,” said Peter Stephenson, technology editor of SC magazine. “For years, we have noted that the one thing that is likely to be watching the network all of the time is the logging mechanism. It may be a syslog on a Linux box, an IDS or a firewall log, but throughout the enterprise there are logs being generated. All it takes is a tool that can be distributed to gather in that information and make sense of it. LogRhythm can do that for you.”

“Being named to the charter group of Hall of Fame Innovators by SC Magazine is a special honor that recognizes the pioneering work we have accomplished in delivering a SIEM solution that provides unparalleled visibility and actionable insight across the enterprise,” said Chris Petersen, co-founder and CTO of LogRhythm. “This award is a tribute to the entire LogRhythm team. However, we have only scratched the surface in terms of the problems we can solve for customers. You can expect some powerful new innovations from us in 2011 that will again redefine what companies expect from Log Management and SIEM products.”
