Learn hands-on best practices for day-to-day administrative and analytic activities.

Once a participant has attended all courses within this path, they will automatically be registered for both of the LogRhythm Platform Administrator (LRPA) and LogRhythm Security Analyst (LRSA) certification exams by the end of the day on Friday.

Day One: Administration Fundamentals

The Administration Fundamentals course is a one-day class designed for security analysts, system and network administrators, engineers, and other LogRhythm users who are responsible for the basic maintenance and configuration of the LogRhythm Platform. This course explores the day-to-day administrative activities of the LogRhythm platform. Administrators will be introduced to the LogRhythm Console’s administrative functions and instructed on how to utilize it for administrative purposes.

Day Two: Global Administration

The Global Administration course is a one-day class designed for system and network administrators and engineers, and other LogRhythm users who are responsible for the advanced or global maintenance and long-term deployment of the LogRhythm Platform. The course explores the advanced maintenance and long-term activities performed by an administrator with global permissions.
Prerequisite: Administration Fundamentals

Day Three: AI Engine (AIE) Fundamentals

The AI Engine Fundamentals course is designed for security analysts, systems and network administrators, engineers, and other LogRhythm users who are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and long-term administration of the AI Engine Rules.

Day Four: Analyst Fundamentals

The Analyst Fundamentals course is a one-day class designed for security analysts, systems administrators, managers, engineers, and other LogRhythm end users who are responsible for the day-to-day use of the LogRhythm Platform to detect, respond to, and neutralize Events and Alarms. This course introduces the steps taken during Threat Lifecycle Management (TLM) to reduce the mean-time-to-detect (MTTD) and mean-time-to-respond (MTTR) to threats.

Day Five: Security Analytics

The Security Analytics course is a one-day class designed for security analysts, systems administrators, engineers, and other LogRhythm users who are responsible for the day-to-day use of the LogRhythm platform to detect and respond to Events and Alarms. This course provides practical hands-on application of the features and functionality of the LogRhythm tools needed to perform Threat Lifecycle Management.
