Delivers Integrated Log and Event Management plus File Integrity Monitoring for Mid-Market to Fortune 1000 Enterprises
June 4, 2009 – LogRhythm, the company that makes log data useful, today announced that it was positioned by Gartner Inc. in the visionaries quadrant of the Security Information and Event Management Magic (SIEM) Quadrant report for 2009. The award-winning LogRhythm solution empowers organizations to comply with regulations, secure their networks and optimize IT operations.
According to the Gartner report, “SIEM technology can be deployed to support three primary use cases: compliance reporting/log management, threat management, or a SIEM deployment that covers both use cases. Most organizations require a general SIEM deployment that implements capabilities in all three areas, but there is variation in use case priority and capability requirements.”
LogRhythm is the only vendor that has built a solution from the ground up which combines log and event management in a single integrated platform to meet the three primary use cases outlined by Gartner analysts: compliance reporting/log management, threat management, and SIEM deployment.
LogRhythm’s placement in the Visionaries Quadrant comes on the heels of the company being selected as SC Magazine’s Reader’s Choice winner for Best SIEM solution and the announcement of LogRhythm 5.0. This new release extends the LogRhythm solution with File Integrity Monitoring and Endpoint Monitoring & Control.
“We continue to build momentum both as a company and as a leader in the SIEM market. We believe our 200 percent increase in revenues last year and growing market share among Fortune 1000 accounts contributed to our position in the visionaries quadrant of this year’s Gartner Magic Quadrant report,” said Chris Petersen, co-founder and CTO of LogRhythm. “With the new capabilities we have added so far in 2009 plus other enhancements planned for the second half of this year, we will further distance ourselves from the pack in our ability to meet the broadest range of customer requirements.”
