LogRhythm recently formalized this organic interest through the creation of LogGiving, an employee-led corporate responsibility committee
As part of its LogGiving initiative, the company announced that it has partnered with Craig Hospital in Denver for the first-ever Pedal 4 Possible event being held on June 6. Pedal 4 Possible is a 100-mile century ride to help raise money for patients recovering from spinal cord and brain injuries.
The LogGiving team selects organizations and events that interest the team and foster collaboration internally and with the community. Participation in these events harnesses employee involvement in the activities while helping finance local community events as well as mentorship and scholarship programs with local schools and universities.
LogRhythm employees will be participating in various aspects of Pedal 4 Possible. In addition to riding in the event, some employees are acting as ride buddies for patients who are participating in the 10K ride. Others will be working the registration desk, acting as marshals along the route to ensure the safety of riders and helping with the post-ride party.
“All of these events and activities not only help support great causes and strengthen our community, but they also help build and solidify relationships amongst our employees,” said Amy Grolnick, director of Human Resources at LogRhythm. “We are thrilled to be supporting such a wonderful organization like Craig Hospital, which is continually working to help its patients regain independence following traumatic physical injuries.”
