2018 Cybersecurity Perceptions & Practices

A benchmark survey of security professionals in the U.S., U.K., and Asia-Pacific regions

Among the many insights revealed throughout this 2018 Cybersecurity: Perceptions & Practices survey is an alarming finding: less than half of all surveyed organisations were able to detect a major cybersecurity incident within one hour. Additionally, less than one-third of respondents said that even if they were to detect a major incident, they would be unable to contain it within an hour.

In this survey, hundreds of IT decision makers across the U.S., U.K., and Asia-Pacific regions were asked questions relating to the current state of their teams’ security maturity.

From the results of this survey, you’ll discover:

  • Organisations’ overall availability of team resources (human, technology, intelligence)
  • The rate at which organisations can detect/respond to/contain a major cybersecurity incident
  • The level of importance organisations’ C-suites place on cybersecurity
  • The role artificial intelligence plays in organisations’ security infrastructure
