Research shows that, during 2022, a ransomware attack was recorded every 11 seconds. This resulted in a global annual cost to business of $US20 billion and the number is continuing to rise. For all organisations, it is a matter of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ they will fall victim to an attack.
