LogRhythm appoints Ross Brewer Vice President and Managing Director of EMECA

Emerging Leader in Log and Event Management Taps Industry Veteran to Lead International Expansion

April 22, 2008 – LogRhythm, the company that makes log data useful, today announced the appointment of Ross Brewer, a former executive with LogLogic, NetIQ, and Symantec, as vice president and managing director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The company also announced that it has established its European headquarters in Maidenhead, England. LogRhythm will demonstrate version 4.0 of its log management and analysis system at the Infosecurity Europe Conference this week (Stand F264).

Brewer, who brings 22 years of sales and management experience to LogRhythm, will lead the company’s expansion into the EMEA region. He will direct LogRhythm’s EMEA business operations including sales, channel development, and administration.

“Ross brings to LogRhythm a very successful track record for building and managing international operations in the log management and security information management space,” said Andy Grolnick, President and CEO of LogRhythm. “He is a seasoned executive with a strong customer focus. We’re thrilled to have him join the LogRhythm team.”

Brewer joins LogRhythm from LogLogic, where he was vice president and managing director for EMEA. Prior to LogLogic, Brewer held senior management and sales positions in Europe for systems and security management vendor NetIQ and security vendor PentaSafe (acquired by NetIQ). At global security leader Symantec, Brewer launched the company’s operations in New Zealand.

“Over the past three years, I’ve witnessed first hand the rapidly growing need for a single solution that combines enterprise-class log management with event management and analytics for compliance, security and IT operational applications. LogRhythm’s integrated solution has been very well-received by customers due to its compelling blend of functionality and ease of use,” said Ross Brewer. “The opportunity for LogRhythm in EMEA is significant.”
