Brian Coulson is the Principal Threat Research Engineer at LogRhythm Labs, where he is responsible for developing threat detection and response content in the company’s MITRE ATT&CK, NDR, and other modules. Brian joined LogRhythm in 2016 and regularly engages with the LogRhythm Community through presentations, offering advice and solutions to remediate common security-related issues.
Prior to starting at LogRhythm, Brian worked as lead information security engineer for a LogRhythm customer and frequently used SIEMS and logging solutions for incident response, forensics, compliance, policy authoring, internal training, security architecture, and more.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in film and video art from the University of New Mexico.
